This all-level yoga class is suitable for ages teen to golden.


Enjoy centering, joint warm-ups, a whole-body physical practice, guided deep relaxation, and a brief seated meditation. Suitable for all body types, strengths, and ranges of motion (prop guidance provided).


Great for those interested in expanding their relationship to nature, learning about yoga, developing or deepening a regular practice, connecting to the breath, exploring mind-body awareness, or simply stretching after an early morning workout to or in the Park.


Props: Please have your own mat, block(s), blanket(s), and a strap as we may use any and / or all of them. Household blanket(s), pillow(s), belt(s), etc. can be substituted with a little imagination.


Preparation: With these guidelines in mind and in practice (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html), we’ll set up on the grass close to BKLA (https://bklanyc.com/) and near Cricket Ground 1 (https://goo.gl/maps/AejKAceKZwkTnZBF9).

For class, in order to respect social distancing guidelines,

  1. I will greet you with a mask on.
  2. I will provide verbal direction only; non touch.
  3. We will setup with 8ft. between mats.
  4. Please be fluid and respect your classmates safety needs.

In either case the audio feed from that device will be toggled off until you activate it yourself; if you want to talk to me or the group please remember to mute it again when you are complete. For ideal results, if its an option, you may consider positioning the camera with a side view of your mat or chair so that I may observe and better guide your practice.

Class: Breath Work for Stress Relief with Extended Yoga Nidra -- Live Stream

This all-level breath-work and meditation class is suitable for ages teen to golden.

This class will consist of seated centering and warm ups, breathwork for anxiety and stress relief, an extended (reclined) guided deep relaxation, and a closing seated meditation. Suitable for all body types, the class focuses on developing subtle consciousness by aligning the body, breath, mind, soul, and spirit.

The Sama Vritti, or balanced breathwork, activates and directs powerful chemicals and communication between systems in the body, priming it to practice Yoga Nidra. Swamis, in conjunction with medical doctors, mindfully designed Yoga Nidra: the Science of Sleep. Its goal is to create a lucid consciousness, in which one is peaceful, deep, radiant, and connected to everything.
